| After guest starring in TV shows such as "Bagdad Café" and "Beverly Hills 90210," Glenn, a native of Dublin, Ireland, landed a major role in the 1991 John Travolta flick "Shout." Glenn shared an on-screen kiss with another rising star, Gwyneth Paltrow.
Glenn also co-starred on "Roseanne," playing Becky's hapless husband. In 1992, Glenn took the part of Cedric Grey in the historic fantasy TV series "Covington Cross" which filmed in England.
It wasn't until he took the role of Doyle in "Angel" that Glenn's hunk status really hit. Perhaps it was because it was the first time that the Irish-born actor was able to use his native brogue in a role, that garnered the fans or perhaps it was just the loveable role of Doyle itself. Despite the two-and-one-half-hours in the makeup chair each evening, Glenn continued to have fun with the role until his character was written off in the ninth episode of season one.
Recently Glenn portrayed Ben, a band manager in the VH1 original movie "At Any Cost."
He plays the drums and the guitar and is part owner of "Goldfingers," a Los Angeles nightclub which has a 007 motif. |
